Product Description

The BLOMBERG 2962470400 is an elastic poly-V belt used as a drive belt in washing machine applications. This OEM-style replacement belt transfers rotational power from the motor pulley to the drum, allowing the wash drum to spin during wash and spin cycles. Licensed appliance technicians and experienced service professionals install this part as a routine wear-item replacement. The elastic poly-V design maintains consistent tension without a separate tensioner, which simplifies installation and reduces component count in the drive train.

This belt is suited for front-load or top-load washing machine drum drive systems where an elastic poly-V configuration is specified. It is installed when the original belt shows signs of stretching, cracking, glazing, or has broken entirely, resulting in a drum that will not rotate. Always confirm the part number match before ordering to ensure proper fit for the specific machine model being serviced.

Key Features

Elastic poly-V construction maintains drive tension without a separate tensioner component
OEM part number 2962470400 ensures direct fitment for compatible BLOMBERG machines
Multi-ribbed V profile provides positive grip on motor and drum pulleys
Replacement of a common wear item that restores full drum rotation function

Compatibility

Designed as an OEM-style replacement drive belt for compatible BLOMBERG washing machines requiring the elastic poly-V belt configuration. Verify the machine model number and original part number before installation to confirm fitment.

Installation Notes

Installation is performed by a qualified appliance technician. Disconnect the washing machine from its power source before beginning any disassembly. Access to the belt typically requires removal of the front or rear panel depending on the machine configuration. Route the belt over the motor pulley first, then stretch it carefully over the drum pulley using approved technique to avoid damaging the ribbed profile.
