Product Description

The MAKITA 226537-1 is a helical gear component used in Makita power tools and outdoor power equipment. Helical gears transmit rotational force between shafts with lower noise and smoother engagement than straight-cut spur gears, making them a common choice in drive trains that require steady torque transfer. This is an OEM replacement part sourced directly from Makita, intended for technicians and service professionals performing gear train repairs. The 39 designation identifies this gear within the Makita parts catalog for correct identification and ordering.

This part is used in Makita lawn and garden equipment and power tools that rely on a helical gear drive train. It is typically installed during drivetrain rebuilds or when gear wear, stripping, or damage is identified during service inspection. Professional repair technicians and authorized Makita service centers are the primary installers of this component.
