Product Description

The HUSQVARNA 522609501 is a spark arrestor screen designed to prevent the emission of combustible particles from small engine exhaust systems. Installed within the muffler or exhaust outlet, the screen traps and cools hot carbon particles before they exit the exhaust port, reducing the risk of ignition in dry vegetation or debris. This component is a direct OEM replacement part intended for service technicians and equipment mechanics working on HUSQVARNA outdoor power equipment including handheld and walk-behind units.

Spark arrestor screens are typically found on outdoor power equipment operated in or near fire-sensitive environments. Many jurisdictions and land management agencies require USDA Forest Service-approved spark arrestors on small engine equipment used on public lands, job sites, or during dry seasonal conditions. This screen services that compliance requirement while maintaining proper exhaust flow performance.
