Product Description

The TORO 254-94 is a tapered cone bearing designed as a precision replacement component for Toro outdoor power and lawn care equipment. Tapered cone bearings support radial and axial loads simultaneously, making them a standard choice for rotating assemblies such as wheel hubs, axles, and drive shafts found in commercial and residential turf maintenance equipment. Installation is typically performed by qualified equipment technicians or experienced service professionals familiar with Toro power equipment systems.

This bearing is used in Toro lawn and garden equipment where tapered roller-style bearing support is required at rotating load points. Typical applications include wheel hub assemblies and axle shaft support on walk-behind mowers, riding mowers, and similar turf equipment. This is a direct OEM-specified replacement part sourced under the Toro parts and accessories program.

Key Features

OEM replacement part under Toro parts and accessories program
Designed for rotating assemblies in lawn and garden power equipment
Direct-fit replacement reduces sourcing and compatibility guesswork for service technicians

Compatibility

Designed as an OEM-style replacement for Toro lawn and garden power equipment requiring a tapered cone bearing at standard rotating assembly positions. Consult the Toro parts lookup by model and serial number to confirm fitment before installation.

Installation Notes

Bearing replacement should be performed by a qualified equipment technician with experience in drivetrain and hub service. Always disengage all power, remove the ignition key, and allow all moving parts to come to a complete stop before beginning disassembly. Use appropriate bearing drivers or a press to seat the cone bearing squarely without striking the roller cage directly. Inspect the bearing cup and seating surface for wear or damage before installing the new component.
