Product Description

The WHIRLPOOL w10313497 is a genuine OEM outer tub designed as a direct replacement component for Whirlpool washing machines. The outer tub houses the inner drum assembly and contains the wash water during the cycle. It is a structural part of the washer cabinet system and is typically replaced when cracking, leaking at the tub seam, or physical damage makes the existing tub unserviceable. This is a factory-original part, not an aftermarket substitute, ensuring correct fit and material spec for the application. Installation is performed by appliance repair technicians or experienced DIYers with the appropriate tools.

This outer tub is applicable to Whirlpool washing machine models that call for part number w10313497. It is most commonly encountered in residential laundry repair scenarios where the tub has developed a leak or sustained structural damage that cannot be patched. Replacing the outer tub restores the machine to proper operating condition and prevents water damage to surrounding cabinetry or flooring.
