Product Description

The GENERALAIRE 2A-710 is a replacement filter cartridge designed for fuel oil filtration systems. Rated at 25 gallons per hour (GPH) with a 10 micron filtration rating, this wool felt cartridge removes particulate contamination from fuel oil lines before it reaches burner components. The center core is bonded to prevent media migration, keeping filter material intact during service and preventing downstream contamination. This cartridge is installed by oil burner technicians and HVAC service professionals as part of routine fuel oil system maintenance.

This cartridge is used in residential and light commercial fuel oil heating systems where inline filtration protects burner nozzles, fuel pumps, and controls from sediment and debris. It is a direct replacement for the GENERALAIRE 99B, 2A-700A, and 2A-700B filter housings. Regular cartridge replacement is a standard part of annual oil heat service and helps maintain consistent fuel flow and combustion performance.
