Product Description

The HOMELITE 99981174004 is a recoil starter assembly designed to restore pull-start functionality to compatible Homelite outdoor power equipment. The recoil starter is the manual starting mechanism that allows the operator to crank the engine by pulling a rope, which engages an internal pawl system to spin the crankshaft and initiate combustion. This assembly typically includes the rope, rewind spring, and starter housing as a complete unit. It is installed and serviced by small-engine technicians and experienced power equipment mechanics working on Homelite lawn and garden equipment.

This recoil starter assembly is intended for use on Homelite lawn and garden power equipment requiring a manual pull-start system. Typical applications include string trimmers, blowers, and similar handheld or walk-behind outdoor power tools that use a recoil starting mechanism. Consult the equipment service manual or the Homelite parts lookup by model number to confirm fitment before ordering.
