Product Description

The MAKITA 232209-8 is a genuine OEM leaf spring replacement part designed for use in Makita power tools and outdoor power equipment. A leaf spring is a small but essential mechanical component that provides tension, retention, or return force within the tool assembly. It is typically found in trigger mechanisms, guards, or internal drive assemblies and must be replaced when fatigued, cracked, or deformed to restore proper function and safe operation. This part is installed by service technicians and repair professionals working on Makita equipment.

The 232209-8 is classified under Makita lawn and garden parts and accessories, indicating application in outdoor power equipment such as trimmers, blowers, or similar handheld or wheeled units. It serves as an internal component that supports the mechanical action of the host tool. When a leaf spring fails, it can cause erratic operation, loss of tension, or failure of a mechanism to return to its neutral position, making prompt replacement important for continued reliable performance.
