Product Description

The HOMELITE 996806001 is a switch push rod designed to actuate the on/off or safety switch mechanism in compatible Homelite outdoor power equipment. This small but critical linkage component transfers mechanical motion from the operator control to the switch assembly, maintaining reliable machine operation. Lawn and garden technicians and experienced service personnel install this part during switch system repairs or when the existing rod is bent, broken, or missing. It is a direct OEM replacement sourced to restore original function.

This switch push rod is used in Homelite lawn and garden equipment where a mechanical push rod links operator controls to the switch assembly. Typical applications include walk-behind equipment and handheld power tools that rely on a physical linkage for switch actuation. Service technicians performing equipment repairs or preventive maintenance will encounter this component when diagnosing switch-related failures or rebuilding control assemblies.
