Overview

The TKIS-2 is an encapsulated VoIP intercom module used to build customized intercom and help point solutions, or as an interface to external Public Address systems. It registers to any SIP server and can also run Zenitel's own PULSE SIP platform, and supports AlphaCom, Pulse, and SIP for use with any IPBX.

Typical applications include adding VoIP to parking kiosks, cash points, vending machines, toll booths, ticket machines, and turnstiles; upgrading legacy analog PA amplifiers into IP-addressable amplifiers; building a custom 10W IP speaker; and serving as an IP-addressable GPIO and relay terminal for automation using DTMF or LUA virtual I/O scripting.
