Product Description

The MIDEA 12676000000558 is a faucet adaptor designed for use with Midea dishwasher installations. This component connects a portable or countertop dishwasher to a standard kitchen faucet, providing a secure water supply interface without the need for permanent plumbing modifications. The adaptor serves as the mechanical link between the faucet aerator thread and the dishwasher inlet hose, making it an essential replacement or spare part for technicians and homeowners servicing Midea dishwasher units.

This faucet adaptor is intended for use with Midea countertop and portable dishwasher models that require a faucet connection for water supply. It is typically installed in residential kitchens where a direct water line tie-in is not available or practical. Service technicians replacing a damaged or missing adaptor should confirm thread compatibility with the existing faucet before installation.

Key Features

Allows portable or countertop dishwasher hookup directly to a standard kitchen faucet
No permanent plumbing modifications required for installation
Direct OEM replacement ensures proper fit and function for Midea dishwasher models

Compatibility

Designed as an OEM-style replacement faucet adaptor for compatible Midea dishwasher models requiring a faucet water supply connection. Verify faucet thread size and adaptor fitment before installation.

Installation Notes

Installation is typically performed by a qualified plumber or appliance technician, though experienced DIYers familiar with appliance hookups can complete this task. Shut off the water supply at the faucet before removing or attaching the adaptor. Thread engagement should be hand-tight plus a quarter turn to avoid cross-threading or cracking the fitting. Consult the dishwasher installation manual and local plumbing codes for guidance on faucet connection requirements.
