Product Description

The WHIRLPOOL WP8546455 is a genuine OEM bearing designed as a direct replacement for worn or failed bearings in Whirlpool appliances. Bearings reduce friction between moving components, allowing drums, motors, and drive assemblies to rotate smoothly under load. When a bearing fails, it typically produces grinding or squealing noise and can lead to accelerated wear on surrounding components. This part is manufactured to original equipment specifications, ensuring correct fit and function without modification. Appliance repair technicians and experienced DIYers install this part as part of standard mechanical servicing.

This bearing is used in Whirlpool appliance repair applications where the original bearing has worn, seized, or become damaged. It is suited for residential appliance service and is installed as part of drum support, motor, or drive train assemblies depending on the specific unit. Refer to the appliance service manual or wiring diagram to confirm the correct location and orientation before installation.
