Product Description

The ABB C1062 is a 2-inch EMT conduit strap used to secure electrical metallic tubing to structural surfaces in commercial and residential wiring installations. This one-hole mounting strap holds EMT conduit firmly against walls, ceilings, joists, and framing members, keeping runs organized and code-compliant. It is a standard hardware item installed by licensed electricians and electrical contractors during rough-in and finish wiring work. The C1062 is a practical, high-cycle fastening component sized specifically for 2-inch EMT and suited to high-volume conduit work.

The C1062 is used wherever 2-inch EMT conduit must be supported at regular intervals as required by the National Electrical Code. Typical applications include commercial panel feeds, industrial raceways, and residential service entrance runs where 2-inch EMT is the conduit of choice. Electricians install these straps during conduit layout before wire pull, securing tubing to wood, steel stud, and masonry substrates using appropriate fasteners for each surface type.

Key Features

Sized for 2-inch EMT conduit for a secure, snug fit
One-hole mounting design allows fast single-fastener installation
Supports conduit at required NEC spacing intervals
Compatible with wood, steel stud, and masonry substrate installations
Suitable for commercial and residential conduit support applications

Compatibility

Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard-use strap for 2-inch EMT conduit support in commercial and residential electrical installations.

Installation Notes

Installation is performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with NEC support spacing requirements for EMT conduit. De-energize all circuits in the work area before securing conduit near live terminations. Use fasteners appropriate to the substrate material, such as screws for wood framing or toggle bolts for hollow masonry. Do not overtighten the strap, as deformation of the fitting can compromise the conduit run alignment.
