Product Description

The ABB INSTALLATION PRODUCTS sh-108 is a clamp-on service cable cap designed to secure and protect service entrance cable at the weatherhead. Built from aluminum, this cap features seven 1-1/8 inch holes arranged in a 3 inch body to accommodate multiple conductors entering a service entry point. It installs without cutting or threading, clamping directly onto the conduit end for a fast, secure fit. Electricians use this cap on residential and light commercial service entrances where conduit terminates at the meter or service head location.

The sh-108 is suited for use with Rigid, IMC, and EMT conduit systems in service entrance applications. The seven 1-1/8 inch holes allow routing of individual service conductors through the cap, keeping cables organized and protected at the conduit termination point. Its aluminum construction resists corrosion in outdoor service entrance environments, making it appropriate for exposed installations at the exterior of residential and commercial structures.
