Product Description

The IO HVAC CONTROLS TD-1408-BM is a rectangular zone damper designed for zoned forced-air HVAC systems. It accepts a 60-second Belimo 3-wire actuator mounted at the bottom of the assembly, giving installers precise control over airflow in individual zones. The damper measures 14 inches wide by 8 inches deep, with an overall unit height of 17 inches. It is built for use in residential and light commercial ducted systems where Trane or American Standard equipment is in service. Licensed HVAC technicians typically install this component as part of a zoning panel upgrade or new zoned system build-out.

This damper is suited for rectangular duct runs in residential and light commercial applications. The bottom-mount actuator position is particularly useful in installations where duct clearance is limited on the sides. The 60-second Belimo 3-wire actuator provides reliable, repeatable blade positioning that integrates with standard zone control panels. It is commonly installed during zoning retrofits or new construction projects where Trane or American Standard air handlers and furnaces are the primary equipment.
