Product Description

Create perfect 45° SAE flares in seconds with the NAVAC NEF6L2 BreakFree Power Flaring Tool — the cordless solution built for HVAC and refrigeration professionals who demand speed, precision, and repeatability on every job. Engineered to eliminate the fatigue and inconsistency of manual flaring, the NEF6L2 handles six of the most common copper tubing sizes (1/4", 5/16", 3/8", 1/2", 5/8", and 3/4") used in mini-split, VRF, and refrigeration installations. An integrated auto-shutoff clutch stops the tool the moment a flare is complete, preventing over-flaring and delivering factory-grade results whether you're a seasoned tech or newer to the trade. Its lightweight, ergonomic body (under 3 lbs) runs on a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, so you can move freely through tight mechanical rooms, attics, and rooftop units without dragging a cord or swapping bulky manual tools. The one-handed operation frees your other hand to stabilize the tubing, and the quick-release flare cone makes size changes effortless. Whether you're installing ductless systems, running line sets, or servicing commercial refrigeration, the NAVAC BreakFree NEF6L2 helps you flare faster, reduce callbacks from leaky connections, and finish jobs with connections that meet SAE J513 standards. Features: Cordless, battery-powered operation — rechargeable lithium-ion battery for all-day HVAC work with no power cord required Six tubing sizes in one tool — flares 1/4", 5/16", 3/8", 1/2", 5/8", and 3/4" OD soft copper tubing Automatic shutoff clutch — delivers consistent 45° SAE flares and prevents over-flaring on every connection Lightweight under 3 lbs — ergonomic one-handed design reduces technician fatigue during repetitive flaring jobs Faster than manual flaring — completes a single flare in seconds, cutting installation time on mini-split and VRF jobs Meets SAE J513 flare standards — produces leak-tight 45° flares suitable for R-410A, R-32, and other refrigerants Quick-change flare cone — swap between tubing sizes without tools for seamless workflow Durable all-metal construction — built for daily use in residential, commercial, and refrigeration applications
