Product Description

The MURRAY 7073797yp is an ignition switch designed for use in Murray lawn and garden equipment. This switch serves as the primary electrical control for starting and stopping the engine, routing low-voltage signals to the starter circuit and engine shutoff systems. It is a direct OEM-style replacement part intended for installation by small engine technicians and experienced equipment service pros. The switch mounts to the equipment console and interfaces with the key-start wiring harness.

This ignition switch is used in residential lawn and garden applications where a keyed start system controls engine operation. It is suited for outdoor power equipment that requires a rotary ignition switch for starting, running, and stopping cycles. Technicians servicing Murray-branded mowers and related equipment will recognize this as a standard console-mounted switch replacement.
