Product Description

The ABB cr104pbm01r5 is a 30mm pushbutton with a mushroom-style actuator and a 1NC (normally closed) contact configuration. It is designed for panel-mount control applications requiring a durable, watertight operator interface. The NEMA 4X-rated enclosure makes it suitable for environments exposed to wash-down, corrosion, or moisture. The red housing provides clear visual indication, commonly used in stop or emergency-stop circuits. Electricians and industrial control technicians install this type of device in motor control centers, machine control panels, and process equipment enclosures.

This pushbutton is suited for both light industrial and commercial control panel applications where a 30mm cutout is standard. The mushroom actuator provides a large contact surface, making it easy to actuate quickly in normal stop or reset functions. The 1NC contact configuration integrates directly into control circuits requiring a normally closed switching path. NEMA 4X construction supports indoor and outdoor installations where dust, water, or corrosive agents are present.

Key Features

Mushroom-style actuator for fast, positive actuation in stop or reset functions
1NC contact configuration for normally closed control circuit integration
NEMA 4X-rated enclosure for protection against water, dust, and corrosion
30mm cutout size fits standard 30mm panel openings
Red housing for clear visual identification in control panels

Compatibility

Designed as an OEM-style panel operator for standard 30mm control panel cutouts in industrial and commercial electrical control applications.

Installation Notes

Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with NEC requirements and the equipment manufacturer guidelines. De-energize and lock out the control panel before mounting the pushbutton or making any wiring connections. Verify the panel cutout is 30mm before installation to ensure proper fit and seal integrity. Confirm the contact configuration matches the circuit logic before commissioning.
