Product Description

The DIABLO DIABDOSCGX is a 2-3/4 inch carbide grit oscillating blade engineered for cutting and removing grout and mortar. The blade uses a Starlock mounting interface, which provides a direct drive connection between the blade and the tool for maximum power transfer and minimal slippage during aggressive material removal. This type of blade is a standard tool for tile setters, remodeling contractors, and flooring professionals who need to remove grout lines or clean up mortar joints without damaging surrounding tile or substrate. Carbide grit construction extends service life significantly compared to standard bi-metal blades when working in abrasive masonry materials.

This blade is suited for residential and light commercial tile and masonry work. Common applications include grout joint removal prior to retiling, mortar cleanup on concrete backer board, and cutting through thinset in renovation and repair scenarios. The Starlock interface is designed for use with oscillating multi-tools that accept the Starlock system. The 2-3/4 inch working width makes it appropriate for standard floor and wall tile grout joints as well as wider mortar bed applications.
