Product Description

The IO HVAC CONTROLS MD-2006-BM is a rectangular two-position zone damper designed for residential and light commercial HVAC zoning systems. Measuring 20 inches wide by 6 inches tall, this damper uses a Belimo three-wire actuator mounted on the bottom of the unit to control airflow to individual zones. Two-position operation means the damper blade moves fully open or fully closed on a call from the zone controller, making it straightforward to wire and commission. Licensed HVAC technicians install this damper directly into supply or return ductwork as part of a multi-zone forced-air system.

The MD-2006-BM fits into standard rectangular duct runs where zone control is required. It is suited for residential zoning applications and light commercial systems using forced-air distribution. The bottom-mount actuator position is useful in installations where duct clearance above the damper is limited. The Belimo three-wire actuator provides reliable open-close control when paired with compatible zone control boards or thermostats that output a 24-volt zone signal.

Key Features

20 x 6 inch rectangular damper body for direct duct integration
Two-position operation: fully open or fully closed blade travel
Belimo three-wire actuator for dependable zone control
Bottom-mount actuator configuration for low-clearance duct installations
Compatible with standard 24-volt zone control systems

Compatibility

Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation zone damper for rectangular duct zoning systems using Belimo three-wire actuator wiring configurations.

Installation Notes

Installation should be performed by a licensed HVAC technician. Shut down the air handling unit and de-energize the zone control panel before mounting the damper or making actuator wiring connections. Secure the damper body to the duct with sheet metal screws around the perimeter flange and verify blade orientation matches intended airflow direction before restoring power. Wiring should follow the zone controller manufacturer specifications and local codes.
