Overview

The Siemens Milltronics 24250641 ST-H ultrasonic transducer is a continuous level sensor engineered for liquid level measurement in chemical storage tanks, process vessels, and industrial applications. The sensor uses ultrasonic technology to detect level in a wide range of liquids and solids. Its narrow design allows the transducer to be mounted on a 2″ (50.8 mm) standpipe, and when mounted correctly, it is completely protected from the process and can be used in harsh, corrosive environments.

Key Features

12° beam angle with a measuring range of 1–33 feet (0.3–10 meters) and 44 kHz operating frequency
Integral temperature sensor automatically compensates for sound velocity variations due to temperature changes
The level transceiver measures propagation time between pulse emission and echo reception to calculate distance from transducer to material
IP68 enclosure offers protection against dust, vibration, flooding, and high temperatures
Compact design simplifies installation and maintenance
Operating temperatures rated to 163°F (73°C) for CSA/FM models and 140°F (60°C) for ATEX models
