Here is an American Bosch U1 Single Cylinder magneto. It seems to be in pretty good shape. It makes an excellent hot spark. If you want to talk about it 419 789 1159

2" x 2" or 50mm x 50mm mounting pattern, the threads are perfect in 2 holes. The other 2 holes have great threads at the top, bolts will screw in and tighten up just fine.
The leadout has a very slight chip that shouldn't hurt a thing.
Turns over very smoothly, no armature drag
Strong magnetic pull
No wear
The pot metal coupler on it isn't perfect but should be useable.
Weighs 8-1/2 lbs before any packing material or box

This mag is "AS IS", NO RETURNS. Please make your decision to buy from the pictures. I think I list items very accurately but my opinion on condition may differ from yours. I have not had most of these mags apart and may not know what the inside looks like. Once you buy and receive the mag it is yours to do what you want with. I am a well known collector and dealer of antique gas engines, parts for them, and related items. I try to list all my items very accurately so the buyer knows exactly what they are buying. Out of respect I ask you to please actually read the descriptions and look at all the pictures before buying or asking questions. I am glad to answer questions but I’m not always that good at emailing people back. If you can find a way to talk to me with your voice you will almost always get a quick response. All of my items are listed “AS IS” and “NO RETURNS”. If I make a mistake on my measurements or you feel something is not as described please let me know and I will try to make it right. I think most all of my customers with a normal level of sanity are happy.

My shipping time is set for 5 business days, weekends and holidays don’t count. I ship out most items quicker than that though. If you are worried about how soon I can ship an item please ask before you buy it. I travel a lot and have a family so I am not always on call 24/7 when it comes shipping items. I think most people would agree that I do an extremely good job of packing items so I guess it's worth the wait.
