The AFP 6 FT Single Leg Internal Shock Absorbing Lanyard is made with a light-weight, heavy-duty, high-strength outer polyester webbing and a polyester core specially sewn in to reduce impact forces, with two substantially secure heavy duty double-locking gates.
The tough webbing is highly resistant to abrasion, mildew, aging, and won’t soften from frequent use. This webbing has low shrink properties and a high temperature threshold.
Our most popular 2-in-1 fall arrest single lanyard that minimizes trip hazards or fall with a shock absorber is built into the lanyard, eliminating the need for an additional bulky shock pack. Elasticated leg expands from 4-1/2 to 6 feet and can resist 8,500 lbs. of tensile strength!

The tough webbing is highly resistant to abrasion, mildew, aging, and won’t soften from frequent use. This webbing has low shrink properties and a high-temperature threshold. Constructed to scale down the impact forces resulting from fall, this Shock Absorbing Lanyard assists workers in effectively moving and position themselves on the job site. The shock absorber is built within the lanyard, making this a lightweight 2-in-1 feature that eliminates the need for a bulky shock pack. This shock-absorbing lanyard does not extend pass 6 FT unless impacted by the force of fall and must be used in conjunction with a full-body harness. Built tough, to limit fall forces up to 900 lbs. or less. Forged steel connectors are corrosion resistant and have a 3,600 lb. gate strength. The lanyard and its double-locking connectors are all ANZI compliant and are easy-to-use. Meets OSHA and ANSI standards, including the stringent ANSI Z359.1.
