This kit does not satisfy FAA-AD 69-22-02 and will not alter the prescribed inspection schedule. This kit does expedite the inspection process by allowing rapid visual inspection to the center of the steering yoke. This product has not been reviewed or approved by the FAA. It is neither a PMA part nor covered by an STC. Use at your own discretion.

The frames are equipped with a 2mm strip of VHB 3M double-sided tape for installation, however many aircraft may have yokes which have adhesive residue from previous emblem installation which does not allow a sufficient mating surface for the tape. In this instance the double-sided tape should be removed and the frame should be glued or epoxied into place. The double-sided tape works best when applied in a warm ambient environment (~60F or greater).

The magnets included in this kit have been tested to have a negligible deviant effects on liquid-filled compasses further than 6" away. You should always check for deviance in your compass prior to installing this kit.

The kit will stick out 2.5mm from the yoke.
