ВПХР Military Chemical Reconnaissance Device — Full Set — Soviet USSR NOS

Item Overview

Offered for sale is an original ВПХР (Войсковой Прибор Химической Разведки / Military Chemical Reconnaissance Device) — a vintage Soviet military field kit designed for chemical reconnaissance and detection of hazardous chemical agents.

This is a full-set NOS (New Old Stock) example preserved from long-term military storage. The ВПХР is a distinctive piece of Cold War-era Soviet military equipment and is particularly suitable for militaria collections, museum displays, historical exhibitions, educational collections, film/theater props, and Cold War equipment collections.

About the ВПХР

The ВПХР was developed as a portable field chemical reconnaissance instrument for Soviet military units. The equipment was intended to assist trained personnel in determining the presence of certain chemical warfare agents in contaminated environments.

The system is housed in a rugged portable military case designed for field transportation and storage. Its modular arrangement allowed the necessary accessories and consumable detection components to be carried together as a self-contained field kit.

Although unused, NOS does not mean that the chemical detection components remain functional or within their original service life. No guarantee is made regarding the present effectiveness, accuracy, or usability of vintage reagents, indicator tubes, filters, or other time-sensitive components.
