Product Description

The SIOUX CHIEF 641wg433 is a brass F1960 PEX tee fitting designed for cold- and hot-water distribution in residential and light commercial plumbing systems. Sized at 1 inch by 3/4 inch by 3/4 inch, this reducing tee allows a branch takeoff from a 1-inch main run down to 3/4-inch lines on both the branch and the outlet. The F1960 designation means it is engineered for cold-expansion PEX connections, which require an expansion tool and PEX ring to create a leak-tight joint. Brass construction provides durability and corrosion resistance suited to potable water applications. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters are the primary installers.

This fitting is used in PEX-a piping systems that conform to ASTM F1960 standards. Typical applications include trunk-and-branch or home-run manifold distributions in residential new construction and remodel work. The reducing configuration makes it useful for stepping down from a main supply line to smaller branch circuits serving individual fixtures or zones.
