Product Description

The HISENSE 1466973 is a replacement gasket rubber strip designed for Hisense refrigerators. This flexible sealing component runs along the perimeter of a refrigerator door and creates an airtight seal between the door and the cabinet. A properly seated gasket prevents warm air infiltration, reduces compressor run time, and helps maintain consistent interior temperatures. This part is typically replaced by appliance repair technicians or experienced DIYers during routine refrigerator maintenance or when the existing gasket shows visible cracking, tearing, or loss of flexibility.

This gasket strip is intended for use in residential refrigerator applications. It is installed on Hisense refrigerator models as an OEM-compatible door seal replacement. Replacement is commonly performed when the door no longer closes with adequate resistance, when condensation forms around the door frame, or when frost buildup appears inside the cabinet near the door perimeter. Proper fitment to the specific door configuration is essential before installation.

Key Features

Flexible rubber construction conforms to door frame contours for consistent sealing
Replaces worn, cracked, or torn OEM door gaskets on compatible Hisense refrigerators
Helps restore airtight door closure to reduce energy loss
OEM part number 1466973 ensures direct fitment for supported models

Compatibility

Designed as an OEM-style replacement gasket rubber strip for compatible Hisense refrigerator models. Confirm the part number against the appliance model and serial number plate before ordering.

Installation Notes

Unplug the refrigerator from the power source before beginning gasket replacement. The gasket is typically retained by the inner door liner or a retaining strip and may require a flathead screwdriver for removal. Avoid overstretching the new gasket during installation, as deformation can compromise the seal. If the new gasket appears wavy after installation, applying gentle heat with a hair dryer can help it conform to the door frame.
