Product Description

The ABB 54108NT is a single-hole copper compression lug designed for terminating 1 AWG conductors in electrical distribution and grounding applications. Copper construction ensures reliable conductivity and long-term corrosion resistance at the termination point. This lug is sized for 1 AWG wire and accepts a single mounting bolt, making it a standard choice for panel terminations, bus bar connections, and grounding assemblies. Licensed electricians and electrical contractors install this type of lug during new construction, service upgrades, and equipment maintenance work.

This lug is suited for residential and light commercial electrical installations where 1 AWG copper conductors require a secure, low-resistance mechanical termination. Typical applications include main panel lugs, sub-panel grounding connections, and equipment grounding conductor terminations. Its copper body is compatible with copper conductors and performs reliably in both indoor and protected outdoor enclosure environments.

Key Features

Copper construction for high conductivity and corrosion resistance
Rated for 1 AWG conductor size
Single-hole mounting for straightforward panel and bus bar installation
Compact profile suitable for use in tight enclosure spaces
UPC verified for procurement and inventory tracking

Compatibility

Designed as an OEM-style compression lug for use with 1 AWG copper conductors in standard electrical termination and grounding applications.

Installation Notes

Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC). De-energize and lock out the circuit before terminating any conductors. Strip conductor insulation to the correct length before seating the wire in the lug barrel, and apply the appropriate compression tool for the lug style. Do not over-torque the mounting hardware, as this can damage the lug or conductor strands.
