Product Description

The LENOVO 5h41q48105 is a OEM heatsink and thermal assembly designed for use in Lenovo computing hardware. This component manages processor heat dissipation, drawing thermal energy away from the CPU and into the surrounding airflow path to maintain safe operating temperatures. It is a field-replaceable unit (FRU), meaning it is intended for technician-level service and swap procedures. Hardware repair technicians and depot service professionals handle this type of component during system board or cooling system replacements.

This thermal assembly is suited for installation in the specific Lenovo system it was designed for, referenced internally as the Jade-1win platform. It is used in scenarios where the original heatsink has failed, sustained physical damage, or where a depot-level repair requires a full thermal assembly replacement. Proper thermal interface material application is required during installation to ensure effective heat transfer.
