Product Description

The ABB TC2228S is a 2-pole tumbler switch designed for use in electrical control and switching applications. Tumbler switches of this type provide a reliable mechanical switching action through a lever-actuated toggle mechanism, making them a common choice for panel-mount and enclosure installations. Electricians and control technicians install this switch to open or close two independent circuits simultaneously, a configuration suited to multi-phase or dual-circuit control needs. Its compact form factor and straightforward actuator style simplify integration into new builds and retrofit projects alike.

This switch is applicable in light commercial and residential electrical panels, control enclosures, and equipment installations where a 2-pole switching function is required. It is well suited for use by licensed electricians performing panel work, control panel assembly, and equipment wiring in compliance with applicable NEC requirements. The 2-pole configuration makes it a practical option wherever simultaneous switching of two circuit legs is necessary.
