Product Description

The American Water Heaters AAP100346569 is an ultra low NOx burner assembly designed as a replacement component for residential and light commercial gas water heaters. The burner assembly is the core combustion component in a gas water heater, responsible for igniting and sustaining the flame that heats the water supply. This part is engineered to meet ultra low NOx emissions standards, reducing nitrogen oxide output during combustion. It is typically installed by licensed plumbers or gas service technicians performing burner replacement or combustion system service.

This burner assembly is suited for gas-fired water heater applications where ultra low NOx compliance is required. Many jurisdictions, particularly in California and other states with strict air quality regulations, mandate ultra low NOx burner technology in residential and commercial water heating equipment. This assembly serves as an OEM-style replacement component for qualified service calls involving burner failure, incomplete combustion, or emissions non-compliance.

Key Features

Ultra low NOx combustion design meets strict air quality emissions standards
OEM-style replacement for gas water heater burner service
Designed for residential and light commercial gas water heater applications
Direct replacement minimizes modification during installation

Compatibility

Designed as an OEM-style replacement burner assembly for gas water heaters requiring ultra low NOx compliant components. Confirm fitment against the water heater model number and burner specifications before ordering.

Installation Notes

Burner assembly replacement should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified gas technician. Before beginning any service, shut off the gas supply at the service valve and allow the unit to cool completely. Work on gas-fired appliances must comply with applicable local codes and the International Fuel Gas Code. Never restore gas supply without verifying all connections for leaks using an approved leak detection method.
