Product Description

The TORO 145-3450 is a torsion idler assembly designed for use in Toro lawn and garden equipment drive systems. This assembly maintains proper belt tension across the drive train, reducing belt slip and wear during operation. The torsion idler works by applying consistent spring-loaded pressure against the drive belt, keeping the system engaged under varying load conditions. It is a direct OEM-style replacement component installed by equipment technicians and experienced service personnel during routine drivetrain maintenance or belt replacement service.

This torsion idler assembly is suited for Toro lawn and garden power equipment that relies on a belt-driven drive system. It is typically installed during belt replacement service or when the existing idler shows signs of wear, bearing failure, or loss of spring tension. Technicians working on Toro walk-behind mowers, riding mowers, or similar outdoor power equipment will encounter this style of idler in the primary drive or blade engagement belt path.
