Product Description

The SONY 5-013-624-01 is an M4x8 countersunk (CS) machine screw used as an OEM replacement fastener in Sony consumer electronics assemblies. This screw follows the M4 metric thread standard with an 8-millimeter length and a countersunk head profile, allowing it to sit flush with the surface of the panel or chassis it fastens. It is sourced directly from Sony as a genuine replacement part and is intended for technicians performing component-level repairs on Sony equipment.

This fastener is used in the reassembly or repair of Sony consumer electronics, including television and display units, where OEM-specified hardware is required to maintain structural integrity and cosmetic finish. Service technicians and electronics repair professionals working on Sony products will find this screw appropriate when an original fastener has been lost, stripped, or damaged during a prior service procedure.

Genuine Sony OEM replacement part
Direct drop-in replacement for the original factory fastener

Compatibility

Designed as an OEM-style replacement fastener for Sony consumer electronics assemblies requiring an M4x8 countersunk machine screw.

Installation Notes

Installation should be performed by a qualified electronics service technician. Power down and unplug the equipment from the wall outlet before beginning any disassembly or fastener replacement. Use a properly sized metric screwdriver to avoid stripping the head. Do not overtighten, as countersunk screws in plastic or thin-metal chassis can crack the mounting boss or deform the seating surface.
