Product Description

The SPEED QUEEN D517557P is a 3-cycle dryer timer designed as a direct OEM replacement for Speed Queen residential dryers. Operating at 120 volts and 60 Hz, this mechanical timer controls the timed dry cycles that regulate heat and tumble sequences throughout a drying cycle. It is a precision electromechanical component that manages cycle progression, making it a critical part of dryer operation. HVAC and appliance technicians install this part during service calls when a dryer fails to advance through cycles, runs continuously, or stops prematurely. Matching the original part number ensures proper fitment and correct cycle timing behavior.

This timer is used in residential laundry applications where Speed Queen dryers require timer replacement due to wear, failure to advance, or mechanical defect. It is suited for installation in both home laundry rooms and light-duty commercial laundry setups that use this specific Speed Queen dryer platform. Technicians replacing this component typically do so as part of a no-heat or no-advance diagnostic repair.
