Product Description

The BRASSCRAFT ST0567 is a replacement faucet stem designed for hot-side service on Aqua faucet assemblies. Faucet stems control water flow and temperature by engaging the seat inside the valve body. When a stem wears out or develops a drip that packing and washers cannot fix, the stem itself must be replaced. The ST0567 is an aftermarket-style replacement that matches the geometry and thread profile of the original 72950-17 stem, making it a direct swap for plumbers and experienced DIYers servicing compatible faucets.

This stem is intended for hot-side faucet repair on residential Aqua faucets that originally used the 72950-17 stem. It is a common replacement in older fixture service work where the original stem has corroded, cracked, or worn past the point of reseating. Plumbing service technicians typically stock stems like the ST0567 to handle same-day faucet repairs without waiting on special-order OEM parts.

Installation Notes

A licensed plumber or qualified technician should shut off the water supply at the stop valve or main before removing the existing stem. Standard faucet stem removal requires a stem wrench or deep socket sized to the packing nut. Inspect the seat for wear or scoring before installing the new stem, and replace the seat if damaged. Follow applicable local plumbing codes when servicing faucet valve bodies.
