Unit is NASA surplus and was removed in working condition. Tested at our warehouse: both AM5030 modules were used to observe current waveforms driven from a function generator. Bears a TEGAM calibration sticker dated 6/17/1998 with a 1999 due date — long expired, listed as provenance only. Buyer should have the unit calibrated before use in any application requiring traceable measurements.

Model: TM5006A six-compartment power module mainframe with two AM5030 programmable current probe amplifiers

TM5006A accepts up to six single-wide TM500 or TM5000 series plug-in modules and includes a GPIB interface
Two AM5030 programmable current probe amplifiers installed; remaining four compartments are fitted with blank panels
AM5030 provides AC/DC current measurement with GPIB programmability over the IEEE-488.1 bus; bus address is set from the front panel and retained when power is removed
Amplifiers can be operated entirely from the front panel with no external controller, or the front panel can be disabled under bus control to prevent manual adjustment
GPIB command set supports configuration readback, instrument serial number query, probe open/closed detection, self-test, and forced probe Degauss and DC balance
AM5030 does not require calibration against a specific current probe, unlike the earlier AM503 series
Current probes are required and are not included. The AM5030 accepts Tektronix A6302, A6303, A6312, and XL-series probes via the Amphenol 165-12 input connector. Probes are sold separately
The AM5030 operates only in a TM5000-series mainframe; the TM5006A included here is a compatible host
Amplifier output connects to any oscilloscope or analyzer via BNC

Included in this sale is the TM5006A mainframe with two AM5030 modules installed and four blank panels. No current probes, BNC cables, or manuals are included. [Note power cord if it ships.]

Please reach out with any questions prior to purchase.

Sold as pictured. Buyer is responsible for verifying compatibility with their probes, mainframe configuration, and application requirements.
