Product Description

The AMERICAN STANDARD ASHP50315076974 is a pilot assembly designed for gas-fired heating systems. The pilot assembly generates and maintains the standing pilot flame that proves ignition before the main gas valve opens. It is a critical safety and ignition component in systems that rely on a continuously burning pilot rather than electronic ignition. Licensed HVAC technicians and gas appliance service professionals install this part during routine maintenance, pilot failure diagnosis, or combustion system repair.

This pilot assembly is suited for residential gas-fired heating applications where a standing pilot ignition system is specified. It is a direct OEM-style replacement intended to restore reliable pilot flame operation in systems that have experienced pilot outages, thermocouple-related shutoffs, or degraded flame performance. The part number PSE-NA270 is referenced in American Standard service documentation and cross-references for applicable units.
