Dundas Jafine PCLT4WZW ProClean Dryer Duct Lint Trap 4" Electric Dryer HVAC

Key Highlights

Secondary In-Line Lint Filtration — Captures lint that bypasses the dryer's built-in lint screen before it enters the transition duct, reducing lint accumulation inside the duct system over the full dryer exhaust run.
Supports Dryer Airflow Efficiency — Maintaining a cleaner duct path helps preserve proper exhaust airflow, allowing the dryer to operate more efficiently and potentially reducing drying cycle times and energy consumption.
Two Galvanized Steel Worm Gear Clamps Included — Both installation clamps are included in the box, providing a secure, rattle-free connection to the 4" transition duct at both collar ends without additional hardware purchases.
Front-Access Cleanout Door — The lint collection chamber opens from the front for straightforward lint removal and cleaning, allowing routine maintenance without disconnecting duct connections or moving the dryer.
Electric Dryer Compatible — 4" Universal Fit — Fits all standard 4" dryer transition ducts used with electric clothes dryers; installs in minutes on flexible foil, semi-rigid, or rigid aluminum duct systems.

Product Description

The Dundas Jafine PCLT4WZW ProClean Dryer Duct Lint Trap is a secondary in-line lint filtration device for 4" electric dryer duct systems, designed to intercept lint that passes through the dryer's built-in lint screen before it accumulates inside the transition duct or exhaust duct run. The unit installs directly onto the 4" dryer transition duct between the dryer exhaust outlet and the in-wall duct, with two included galvanized steel worm gear clamps securing both collar connections without additional hardware. The front-access lint collection chamber opens for easy removal and cleaning of collected lint, allowing routine maintenance without disconnecting the duct. By reducing lint accumulation inside the duct system, the PCLT4WZW helps maintain proper airflow through the dryer exhaust path, supporting dryer operating efficiency and reducing the conditions that contribute to dryer duct fire risk. Constructed from polystyrene with a 4" collar size; overall body dimensions are approximately 4.4" W × 4.4" D × 7.5" H.
