Used Sandvik Titon 500 Down The Hole (DTH) Crawler Drill.Rig

The machine starts, runs and drills.

These machines are a one man operation, with the digital menus, digital display allows an operator to position the drilling process with perfect alignment at different vertical and horizontal angles and drill depth readouts and drill bit control for pressure and speed. Pressure gauges are manual visual dials.

Inside the cab the operator adds or removes drill pipes as needed from the carousel, and controls the pipe clamps, pipe thread greaser, drill speed, etc.
Well maintained machine

This Titon 500 is priced to sell, it is priced below market.

This drill rig has an auto pump grease system for greasing drill pipe threads, for this it uses a grease bucket which swings out for easy replacement, the grease pump is operated from inside the cab when adding drill pipes, this rig also has a powered integral dust extractor unit with filters, with large dust shroud and hose on the front.

The integral 1000 cfm compressor clears the debris from the drilling hole instead of a mud pump, compressed air is more efficient in deep holes, as is a DTH rig compared to a Top Hammer drill rig, since all the hammering is done at the drill bit down the hole, that is why they are also quieter. The compressed air drives the DTH hammer.

Installed as standard, there is a water/foam injection tank which helps the drilling process and with the compressed air to seal the hole sides as it's being drilled, this tank also swings out on a pivot so you can access the electrical compartment.

There is also a manual pump attached to the hydraulic tank so a 5 gallon bucket can fill the hydraulic tank with no spillage.
